Our team and what we’ll accomplish together


As a Sr Client Services Rep and a Mental Health Care Advocate, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing and monitoring health plans for patients through our platform. In addition to patient facing support, you will also be responsible for providing administrative support and guidance to our contracted clinical team. This is a full-time position requiring evening and weekend availability.


The Sr Client Services Rep will work closely with our team of mental health professionals while assessing the patients’ needs and determining the best care plan when it comes to their overall well being. This includes educating them about services offered such as financial and legal advice, mental health and nutrition. A successful candidate has excellent customer service skills, both written and oral, as well as advanced computer skills to interact with new patients. You’ll be presented with a fast paced environment requiring constant organization while maintaining close attention to detail.

What you’ll do

  • Assist patients with a biopsychosocial assessment and develop an intervention plan that is unique to the patient
  • Responsible for thorough and efficient documentation for each patient encounter
  • Set appointments and coordinate patient activities by liaising with health professionals such a legal, financing, nutrition, mental health therapists and primary care clinicians
  • Maintain patient profiles and relevant personal information on the appropriate patient and provider platforms
  • Be responsive to possible emergency situations and react in accordance with crisis management protocols
  • Work in close collaboration with the different members of the team such a nurse practitioners, physicians
  • Protects patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
  • Coordinating care for patients which may include booking follow up appointments and assisting with other administrative requests
  • Managing incoming calls and voicemails
  • Monitoring internal systems for incoming requests from the clinical team and respond as required
  • Manage outgoing referrals and ensure timely care for patients

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in an appropriate discipline (sexology, social work, psychology...)
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Knowledge of the health sector,mental health, and medical terminology
  • Patience and tact in dealing with customer concerns
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Strong skills in time management, planning and organization
  • Intermediate analytical skills, comfortable analyzing analyzing datasets to identify trends and pattern
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Great ease with computer systems and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive and empathetic approach when interacting with patients
  • Being solution-oriented with a “lead with yes” mindset
