Help Elevate our Customers into the Cloud

As Principal Customer Solutions Architect within the Industry Solutions PAI team you will drive cross-sell opportunities and synergy realization through the companies we acquire in the B2B space, playing a vital role in driving new inorganic revenue growth and market expansion.
You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to our sales teams and other business units focused on strategically identifying and driving business development opportunities within the digital cloud and data management portfolio.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance cross-sell capabilities and drive and develop sales synergies between various TELUS channels
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, industry experts, and sales channels
  • Pre-sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, demonstrations, quoting & SOW’s , RFP’s
  • Leverage your strong business acumen and deep industry knowledge in AI and Cloud to advance complex opportunities by assessing financial implications of design/solution considerations
  • Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization and uphold the values and behaviors of a senior leader in the business and throughout the extended community
  • Develop and implement channel strategies to drive cross-sell initiatives and maximize revenue growth
  • Oversee sales performance and funnel growth against set targets and KPI’s providing regular updates and plans

Qualifications

Effective leader:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills – collaborating cross functionally between technical and business teams guiding team members by sharing knowledge and best practices throughout solutions and markets.
  • Excellent communication and and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and ability to build and maintain relationships at all level
  • Technology and Sales Driver:
  • Demonstrated mastery of solutioning methodologies and frameworks with the ability to identify and understand customer strategic needs relative to solution possibilities
  • Proven record in strategic selling with a detailed understanding of the TBS sales process and achieving sustainable, profitable business results
  • Delivery of a future view “roadmap” in accordance with the customers business needs and industry technology trends

Experienced Business Professional:

  • Known for creating compelling visions of financial and project-based opportunities
  • Knowledge of the B2B market landscape, including industry trends and competitive dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and data analytics
  • Post-Secondary degree in relevant engineering, computer science or other technology area and 10- 15+ years of experience in the Telecom/IT industry

Great-to-haves:

  • Relevant Industry and technology architecture designations and certifications – TOGAF, ITIL, AWS, ServiceNow , Google Cloud, Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer, GSI, Cirrus commercial Marketplace
  • Professional Sales certification/s
  • Bilingual English & French

Salary Range: $114,000-$170,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 30%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
