We are looking for a highly-motivated and results driven individual to join the Program Office of the Data Insights team. This is an exciting role in which you will be involved in delivering on enterprise wide transformational initiatives. We are looking for someone who excels in a business ownership environment, is excited by data and demonstrates strong leadership, storytelling, relationship building and negotiation skills.

 

In this role as a Senior Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the program ownership and enablement of marketing strategies for TELUS that help drive product intensity through targeted and customized campaigns. You will work with leaders and teams across different business units to align on program objectives that support marketing and business outcomes. The portfolio consists of collaborating with Marketing teams to create personalized customer communications plans through data insights and segmentation and partnering with Sales and Service teams to ensure the enablement and implementation of those strategies.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Create an interlocked future state plan by gaining alignment with cross-functional business units
  • Help to define models, processes and success metrics to enable delivery of new marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with the executive stakeholders to collaboratively update the strategic outlook, identifying opportunities and threats in the coming years, ensuring individual program strategies will contribute to establishing TELUS as the easiest Telco to do business with
  • Create implementation strategies for new ideas by understanding the program & platform objectives and determining user community needs
  • Consult with various impacted teams and stakeholders to develop understanding of various perspectives, opportunities, and impacts that will inform your program objectives and meet the requirements of the business
  • Assess opportunity cost and trade-offs in delivery schedule of initiatives
  • Effectively manage the funnel of opportunity evaluations and drive alignment on initiatives between business and enabling units at an early stage through socialization
  • Manage on-going program capital and financials including developing and tracking program KPIs and monthly & quarterly spend forecasts

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • You have demonstrated experience modeling in Business framework mapping to end to end value streams across strategy and operations
  • You are passionate about delivering customer experience and experience with customer journey mapping, non-functional and agnostic requirements management
  • You are a self-starter with proven organization and time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • You have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and are comfortable working with ambiguity with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
  • You enjoy making complex problems easy to understand and can present solutions, impacts, and outcomes of various solutions
  • You have excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
  • You are comfortable working with all levels of management across the organization; experience with executive reporting an asset
  • You are able to quantify goals and results in the creation and implementation of business strategies
  • You have experience leading large complex programs and high performance teams
  • University degree in business, commerce, marketing or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • English verbal and written required for this opportunity

Midpoint Base Salary:  $100,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
