What you’ll do

 

Reporting to the Manager of IoT Planning & Base Management, you will play a critical role in driving profitable revenue and market share growth while supporting our overall IoT marketing strategy. You will own the base management and planning activities for the TELUS’ IoT Fleet portfolio. You’ll help define our retention and renewal strategy for our Fleet customers. You’ll also help achieve annual, quarterly and monthly targets for revenue, margin, and subscriber volume growth.

 

You will interlock with key stakeholders across various teams and business units. You will lead strategic reviews, business casing, and deep dives geared towards executive decision support, and serve as a strategic partner for our Product, Sales and other Marketing teams.

 

  • Lead the development of the short and long term financial and subscriber forecasts for the IoT Fleet portfolio
  • Define, develop and implement our overall customer base management strategy across multiple product bases 
  • Execute churn management programs and proactive retention campaigns based on data based insights and learnings 
  • Collaborate with the Pricing team to balance retention outcomes (churn & save rates) with financial outcomes to deliver on EBITDA targets 
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance updates to our senior leadership team
  • Serve as the key point of contact to senior leadership, Finance, Sales and Product teams to ensure we exceed financial and subscriber targets
  • Collaborate with the Product team and other Marketing teams to help define the TELUS’ Fleet strategy

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and develop solutions to critical financial business challenges
  • Expert ability to collaborate and verbally and visually communicate effectively with all levels of management, including senior executives
  • Navigate through complex organizational dynamics and use influencing and negotiating skills to create desired outcomes

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • MBA is an asset, but not required
  • University degree in business or similar
  • 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing communications, product management, management consulting or operations role

Base Pay:  $118,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
