The TELUS Connectivity Products and Brands (CPB) team is responsible for bringing world class products and services to market and responsible for ensuring our business transforms to meet the evolving needs of the customers and communities we serve. Directly supporting the CPB leadership team, you will leverage your entrepreneurial, strategic and gritty mentality to build on the already established foundation and support in executing our strategic priorities across the organization.

As a strategic and innovative thinker who isn’t afraid to work in ambiguous circumstances, you’ll help us to continue growing the reach and capabilities of the Connectivity Products and Brands (CPB) team nationally. You’ll evaluate new business opportunities and work closely with leaders from across CPB to bring forward new ideas to help us delve into new areas we may not currently be involved in. You’ll focus on developing our strategy and lead the execution of key elements of it.


As a trusted advisor on critical projects and executive-level initiatives, the Chief of Staff role is positioned for future leadership positions across the organization. 


Here’s how:

 

  • Develop and design, a multi-year plan and roadmap to continue to grow the scale and scope of our suite of consumer products and services
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop the short-term and long-term strategic plans for CPB
  • Identify opportunities, research and provide insight and data to support your approach
  • Support the CPB leadership team in assessing strategic options for new potential solutions for customers, including recommending the best path forward
  • Manage and lead the internal planning activities on behalf of the CPB leadership team, including scorecard objectives, KPI tracking, driving our team engagement agenda, recurring all-team leadership meetings and Town Hall events
  • Lead discussions and planning review sessions with the senior leadership team including supporting the scorecard and risk review
  • Cascade executive-level initiatives, conduct impact assessment, and align support across all relevant business units 
  • Develop high-impact presentations, for both external partner audiences and for internal senior level executives and act as the point of contact for key internal and external platforms and communications
  • Bring together the CPB inputs for the annual strategy check reviews that are presented to the executive leadership team, the CEO and Board
  • Provide organizational support, at times acting as the voice of executive team members for information sharing, delegation and coordination across leadership teams 
  • Operate as the CPB subject matter expert, working in close collaboration with other Chiefs of Staff to ensure alignment and continuity across projects, objectives and initiatives
  • Facilitate and review the leadership team’s strategic business decisions to ensure objectives continually align with corporate strategy
  • Develop governance, rigor and structure to support executive level decision-making on strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Contribute to the timely preparation of materials for review by the executive team

  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills, naturally optimistic with high resilienc

  • 2+ years with a management consulting firm
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Relevant experience focused on telecommunications, media, software, tech

 

 

Base Pay:  $118,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
