We are looking for a proactive, highly-motivated and results driven leader to join the TELUS Business Solutions Public Sector Wireless team, within Products and Services, at TELUS. The role will also have a dotted line reporting to Enterprise Wireless team leader. You will be joining an amazing team of collaborative, innovative and driven individuals. We have a strong customer focus and are committed to service excellence!
You will be the driver of the Public Sector and Enterprise Wireless P&L. You will manage subscriber KPIs, revenue and gross margin targets and help the leadership achieve internal KPIs.
You will also build relationships with key stakeholders in sales, marketing and finance, act as an influencer with cross functional and executive groups in order to enhance revenue and margin, provide regional leadership on performance and competitive trends/behaviour, and support/lead special projects in support of Corporate objectives.
What you’ll do
- Develop close relationship with Sales teams across Canada to understand the movements across TELUS’ Public Sector accounts
- Use the knowledge from interactions with Sales and data in Salesforce to influence monthly and annual Planning processes
- Deep dive into data to help stakeholders and other team members with understanding of account specific behavior when seeking large opportunities
- Update the leadership team through weekly reports on subscriber KPIs and identify any risk and/or opportunity in attaining monthly targets. Also, collaborate with stakeholders to drive the KPIs to meet targets
- Identify and implement business initiatives to help improve Public Sector and Enterprise Revenue and/or Gross Margin
- Lead the Credit approval process for discretionary credits
- Lead Adhoc projects as and when the opportunities arise
Qualifications
What you bring
- You have in-depth knowledge of the wireless industry and wireless technologies gained through a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- You have experience in planning and developing business cases
- You have the ability to maintain quality & timeliness of deliverables across a number of varied tasks and responsibilities
- You have excellent organizational and planning skills; able to manage multiple project responsibilities and shifting urgent priorities
- You have a high tolerance for ambiguity and change while maintaining strong attention to detail
- You are able to create and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
- You have intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modeling and analysis is required for this role
