We’re a Product Management team on a mission to develop an innovative solution that empowers companies globally to simplify, unify, and transform the smart living experience for their customers.  We are enabling a Platform as a Service (PaaS) to offer differentiated SmartHome products and facilitate rapid scaling. Your expertise in home security technology, the home security experience and a deep understanding of the smart home market will play a critical role in shaping the future of smart living globally.

 

What you’ll do: 

 

As part of the Product Management team, you will work closely with UX/UI designers, app and platform development teams and hardware product management teams to create a world class home security capability that will be used to deliver security services to end-users around the world. 
Specifically you’ll: 

 

  • Define overall roadmap for home security functionality based on medium and long-term objectives
  • Present ideas and opportunities to senior leaders, and work with designers to explore innovative new features
  • Work cross-functionally with input from designers, engineers and other product  managers to prioritize a backlog of features
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria definitions to be used to guide design, development and testing

What you bring:


You are likely in a similar product focused position today, with many of the experience and acumen items, below.  You are or have:

 

  • Significant years of relevant work experience in software product management, using Agile methodologies
  • Strategic understanding of home security technologies, with a passion for smart home products and services
  • Known for your ability to bring projects through to completion
  • Exceptional storyteller with the ability to simplify messages to any audience and present complex business cases to senior leadership

 

Great-to-haves 


We’re especially motivated to connect with people that have one or more of the following:

 

  • Track record of successfully developing and launching new products as well as managing in-market products
  • Consumer and SaaS or PaaS experience
  • Global or multi-market product management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, engineering or computer science or equivalent practical experience; MBA is an asset
