As a Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Operational & Financial Insights team within the CSD&E Strategy & Governance group. This role will support Opex and other financial analysis for multiple teams within the CSD&E portfolio.

 

Each day, this multi-faceted opportunity will keep you on your toes with value-add financial activities for our business partners, including budgeting, planning, month-end reporting and forecasting.

 

At the core of your talents is your innate ability to communicate; you transform your in-depth financial analysis into a clear format that stakeholders understand. You also assert confidence and determination when interfacing with leaders at all levels of the organization. Being the trusted advisor to multiple diverse leaders, you will have in-depth involvement in many aspects of their key business activities and processes.

 

This role will report to the Manager - Program Office, CSD&E Strategy & Governance, and will work closely with General Managers, Managers, and Analysts in supporting their operational & financial goals.

Be a trusted advisor to the Customer Solutions Delivery & Enablement (CSD&E) Teams

 

  • Manage and coordinate month-end reporting for VP & General Manager regions
  • Prepare monthly reports and variance analysis for various stakeholders
  • Complete ad-hoc and other investigation, analysis and reporting as required
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the Business Unit to track and develop key performance metrics

  • Strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach to solve challenging problems with effective solutions

 

Confident Presenter: 

 

  • Ability to present to leaders within the organization to explain the financial impacts of business decisions


Engaging Communicator:

 

  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to forge strong relationships and influence others, at all levels in the organization

 

Proactive Planner/Time Management:

 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to scope out difficult tasks, set objectives and goals, develop schedules, prioritize multiple activities, and anticipate roadblocks
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables to meet deadlines and goals in fast-paced, ever-changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment

 

Great-to-Haves

 

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP/BW or other ERP software
  • Experience working with an operations team
  • Business, Finance or Accounting related degree
  • Accounting Designation (CPA – CA/CMA/CGA) or working towards one - while not required would be an asset 

 

Required Experience: 

 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/ accounting position
