TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for Calgary.
What you’ll do
- Build creative, informative and motivational communications, sharing with the employee population
- Provide one-on-one consultations (i.e. individual health & fitness programs and support)
- Instruct in-person and virtual stretch and mobility classes
- Lead meditations
- Plan, create and implement a variety of fitness and wellness activity challenges, events, interactive programs, webinars and workshops
- Report of monthly and/or quarterly participation statistics
- Facilitate the completion of screening forms and waivers for new members and annually
- Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders and the Fitness & Wellness Consultants at other sites to plan targeted fitness and wellness programming
Qualifications
What you bring
- Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion
- Current certifications in Personal Training and CPR/First Aid/AED
- Fitness Instructor certification is preferred
- Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative and ability to work independently
- Strong organization and time management skills required
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
- Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field is a must
