This role within Supply Operations manages the supply planning and operations functions for our national mobility accessories portfolio across multiple direct fulfill channels, as well as our 300+ TELUS retail locations. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and our financial success, as you collaborate and influence our internal marketing, channel, warehousing and finance stakeholders and external global suppliers. What you’ll do

 

As a Supply Planner you are responsible for creating and managing the supply plan for a portfolio of products, working in concert with Demand Planners, Marketing, Warehousing and Channel Operations and other stakeholders. Leveraging digital planning tools (i.e. Blue Yonder) you will plan inventory to be held at our primary warehouses and in the TELUS retail channel. The Supply Planner is responsible for purchasing, scheduling and managing the flow of materials and services from vendor to the point of distribution to customer, ensuring materials are available when and where they are required by the customer, while balancing inventory ROI. You will provide evaluation of supply chain dynamics and provide insights to inform demand planning, leadership and stakeholder decisions.

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • A highly engaged and collaborative professional with solid verbal and written communication skills
  • A track record of analytical and operational excellence within supply operations, product marketing or related discipline
  • Experienced with using Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) or SAP HANA to manage supply and/or demand plans within a retail or similar environment
  • A clear understanding of demand and supply planning attributes and KPIs, as well as financial aspects of inventory planning
  • Effectively practices commitment (or promise) based management, supporting prioritization and execution that aligns with what matters most and shared expectations
  • A degree or diploma in business, supply chain or a related discipline

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience with advanced BI tools like DOMO or Tableau and an ability to leverage same to simplify and communicate business performance, challenges and opportunities
  • Experience using coding such as VBA, SQL or Python to automate and simplify tasks
  • Process improvement, project management or data analysis accreditation
