Manufacturing Technologist, Clean Room

STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company, is looking for a Manufacturing Technologist to support production of our life science research products. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other team members, performing hands-on work manufacturing products in a clean room environment.
As a member of the Manufacturing, Clean Room team, your work is essential to making our high quality research products that drive science forward! This is an excellent position to progress your career in the scientific field by refining your laboratory skills and learning industry documentation practices, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, set up, and operate production equipment required in the manufacture of products
Conduct daily monitoring, calibration, and routine maintenance of equipment used in production
Perform weighing of raw materials, compounding, formulating, and aseptic processing
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to manufacture life science research products
Adhere to our Quality Management System by maintaining accurate written documentation and electronic records
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science or technical degree, preferably in a life science related field
Strong oral and written communication skills with a desire to build collaborative relationships with colleagues
An adaptable work schedule based on the production needs, with the ability to work weekends and evening shifts
Ability to lift 25-30 lbs and work on your feet most of the day
Experience with SAP and working within an ISO regulated system is an asset

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:$56,270.00 - $76,100.00
STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
