Job Description Summary

As a Senior Account Manager your role is to identify and acquire new customers to drive new business, while also managing existing accounts and relationships in dedicated regions.

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will closely work with the Inside Sales representative’s team.

In this role you will have a broad and immediate impact on scientific discovery by leveraging your scientific expertise and strategic thinking to provide expert consultation and become a trusted ally in the scientific process.

Please note that while this is a remote position (with a home office based in Madrid or Barcelona), there is travel required within the assigned territory.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • With oversight from the Regional Sales Manager you will execute a preset territory strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets in assigned territories on a quarterly basis

  • Leverage product knowledge to develop, grow and maintain customer relationships

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within the territory, through prospecting, emails, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetings

  • Document communications and keep the customer relationship management (CRM) database up to date

  • You will be responsible for attending conferences and organize local events

  • It will be in your duties to manage, identify and apply to tenders and framework agreements

  • Product demos, talks and scientific cases (troubleshooting) might be also on your responsibilities

  • Planning and developing marketing actions on your territory

  • Feedback any relevant information from the market to other teams in the company.

  • Cross departmental collaboration within the company

Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Immunology (previous Sales experience is an asset, but not required)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Broad knowledge in area of expertise, including products, processes, practices, and approaches

  • Demonstrate expertise in the competitor landscape and proficiency on the entire product portfolio

  • Demonstrate teamwork abilities and experience

  • Display proficiency in lab skills and ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues

  • Driving License

  • Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English
