Job Description Summary

STEMCELL Technologies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead, GMP with a strong background in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
In this role you will oversee day-to-day operations in the cleanroom, serving as a subject matter expert in both downstream and upstream processes. As a Manufacturing Team Lead, GMP you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient completion of production schedules, maintaining compliance with safety protocols, and fostering a culture of quality within the manufacturing team.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cleanroom operations, scheduling and equipment in order to supervise and oversee day-to-day operations

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to staff to ensure compliance to GMP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including providing feedback to manufacturing manager

  • Participate in the initiation and closure of critical Quality Management System (QMS) tasks, including Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other technical writing efforts

  • Review and allocate manpower and assign work to the team based on the weekly schedule

  • Assist in streamlining workflow as well as developing and implementing new processes whilst demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in a life sciences related discipline with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in GMP manufacturing in a cleanroom setting

  • Proficiency in aseptic techniques and a strong understanding of biotech manufacturing processes

  • Desire to build collaborative relationships with colleagues with the proactive ability to lead team members

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly

  • Ability to work with an adaptable work schedule based on production needs, including shift basis as required to meet business demands

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$78,640.00 - $118,000.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
