Job Description Summary

STEMCELL’s Services for Cell Therapy team is expanding, and we’re looking for someone with the unique combination of an understanding of the cell and gene therapy space from a scientific and/or regulatory perspective, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and project management skills.

As a Program Manager, Services for Cell Therapy, you will be responsible primarily for supporting customers in the qualification of STEMCELL products as ancillary materials, championing key initiatives, and managing internal cross-functional teams and activities to facilitate the design and execution of resulting customer-driven projects. Ultimately, in this position you will work directly with our customers to help enable cutting-edge cell and gene therapy development.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enable customers in the qualification of STEMCELL products as ancillary materials for cell therapy manufacturing by providing quality and regulatory support
  • Manage customer-driven initiatives and projects, most commonly associated with the use of STEMCELL’s products as ancillary materials for cell therapy manufacturing, including complex custom product design and custom manufacturing initiatives
  • Work closely with Business Operations management, Business Development, and Sales to generate proposals and execute service contracts; ensure the appropriate legal agreements are executed at the appropriate time when pursuing opportunities

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Minimum BSc degree in the biological sciences or related field, with a graduate degree strongly preferred
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Quality, or other position with a proven track record of managing complex relationships
  • Project Management experience is an asset

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$78,640.00 - $118,000.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
