Job Description Summary

Working under the direction of scientists, you will perform and troubleshoot experiments, analyze and interpret data, and report your findings. This position is ideal for recent BSc science graduates who want to hone their laboratory skills and build a career in biotech, while contributing to the creation of high-quality experimental workflows for researchers around the world.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Culture and maintain mammalian cells, perform cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and routine molecular biology techniques
Perform and troubleshoot experiments with input from supervisors, including validation experiments for new products, product components, and technologies
Perform routine laboratory calculations, analyze data, contribute to data interpretation, present findings in team meetings, and help design future experiments
Help maintain laboratory supplies and operations to ensure a safe and functional lab environment
Keep accurate and detailed records of lab procedures and results
Knowledge and Qualifications
BSc in a Life Science or related field, with ~1 year relevant lab experience (i.e. academic, industry, and/or co-op lab experience) needed
Practical experience using a variety of laboratory techniques, such as mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy, qPCR, and biological assays are highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting your own data to small and large groups and writing reports
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation preferred
