Duties & Responsibilities
Support, coach, develop, and evaluate a team of seven compensation professionals
Set annual goals for the compensation function and the 1-2 year strategic vision for the function
Develop foundational, competitive, and innovative compensation programs that align with STEMCELL’s Total Rewards strategy
Design and implement efficient compensation processes and practices to support STEMCELL's ongoing growth and global expansion
Seek continuous improvement in all areas of compensation including job leveling, job evaluation, compensation governance, benchmarking, and merit
Lead annual compensation cycles for all employee groups
Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with HR functional areas (e.g., HR business partners, HR systems) and other stakeholders across the organization (e.g., senior leaders, managers, finance, payroll)
Knowledge & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in compensation, with at least 5 years in leading a compensation function
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Human Resources, or related field; CCP designation an asset
Strong knowledge of compensation and human resources practices, processes, and standards
Excellent logical, data-based, and analytical aptitude
Experience with global compensation and sales incentive design is an asset
