Job Description Summary

Our Scientific Marketing team is looking for a new team member! Do you have a life sciences background and experience with content marketing and strategy? We are looking for a Manager of Scientific Marketing, Immunology, who will bring their experience to contribute to STEMCELL’s mission of helping researchers advance science in the fields of stem cell biology, disease modeling and others.

As a people leader and member of this team, you will engage the scientific community through diverse marketing channels and drive the adoption of our immunology products to attract and retain business. As a Manager of Scientific Marketing, you will lead a team of direct reports in developing marketing strategies, creating helpful and engaging content, launching new products, and promoting content via various channels (e.g. social media, emails). This role has a highly collaborative component, building consensus with various Scientific, Product Management, and Marketing Communications teams. Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for planning and executing strategic marketing campaigns with a small team of direct reports to support the delivery of STEMCELL’s market segment and brand strategies, and support the achievement of sales and marketing goals

  • Ensure newly launched products are available and appropriately highlighted on our website with all applicable information, performance data, supporting documentation, and associations with existing categories, products, and content

  • Supervise and provide feedback on the creation, maintenance, and promotion of marketing content, including lead-generating activities, product pages and other website content, social media content, brochures, videos, web and print advertisements, sales tools, tradeshow booth graphics, and other promotional materials

  • Track, review, and report progress and results of marketing campaigns and tactics with marketing management and cross-functional project teams; build consensus on product and resource prioritization, and improve processes and/or manage expectations around bottlenecks and delays with various stakeholders

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a marketing or communications role, with a demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategy and tactical plans into effective marketing collateral

  • Ideally, experience in people management, with a demonstrated ability to deliver and receive feedback using a continuous growth mindset

  • Typically requires a BSc with 2-3 years experience, MSc with 1-2 years of experience, or PhD in life sciences field, including laboratory and marketing experience

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) both in one-on-one and in group settings, and technical writing skills appropriate for scientific and marketing materials

  • Strong independent and group project management and organizational skills, including enthusiasm for working as a part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented team
