Job Description Summary

Join us as an Inventory Control Specialist responsible for meticulously managing inventory transactions in strict adherence to policies and procedures, with a focus on minimizing financial impact. This includes documenting procedures and providing training as needed.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with data mining, extractions, and visualization

  • Develop and maintain inventory controls, reporting regularly

  • Coordinate transaction reviews with inventory stakeholders

  • Ensure end-of-month transaction activities reviews, including goods receipt and system queues

  • Develop and maintain inventory transaction procedures, identify improvement opportunities, and perform authorized transactions as needed

  • Crosstrain on inventory and cycle count programs for backup needs.

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Preferably possess post-secondary education in supply chain/logistics

  • Considered an asset: Holding an APICS certification or equivalent designation

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in a similar role.

  • Expertise in ERP inventory transactions with strong math acumen. SAP proficiency preferred.

  • Highly skilled in using advanced spreadsheets and BI reporting tools; Tableau and Google Data Studio proficiency is advantageous

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and being comfortable presenting to various audiences
