STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Team Coordinator, GMP to join our dynamic team.

In this role you will work alongside the Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing operations. Being a main point of contact on the manufacturing floor you will also liaise with cross-functional teams representing your team and department. As a Manufacturing Team Coordinator, GMP you will play a key role in executing our production efforts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement which will directly contribute to the organization’s key revenue stream.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on product manufacturing activities, including following written batch records and procedures to manufacture assigned products while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) standards

  • Support workload so it is evenly distributed among all team members, including supporting training programs and troubleshooting

  • Represent manufacturing in cross-functional meetings and lead projects, including batch record reviews and NCR investigations

  • Streamline workflow and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, including mentoring and inspiring team members to achieve their best performance

  • Perform aseptic filling with proper aseptic techniques to safeguard product sterility and quality

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • BSc in a life science (eg. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) with 2-3 years of relevant experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and compliance and a strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously on continuous improvement projects

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to mentor, motivate and set an example for team members, including providing guidance and support

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, including flexibility for shift based work as required by business needs

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and Lean Principles is a definite asset
