Job Description Summary
Are you well-versed in Project Management Methodology? Are you looking to align yourself with an innovative, purpose-driven organization that supports life science research? This is a unique opportunity to join a growing PMO to guide a variety of projects within the Information Systems (IS) business unit, impacting business groups across the organization.Projects will vary in scale, scope, and nature from net new system implementations, system integrations, and AWS and cloud migrations, to physical infrastructure implementations in our state-of-the-art facilities. You will communicate and liaise with all levels of staff and management across the business, as well as with consultants, vendors, and others as needed to facilitate consensus, consult, negotiate, and share information.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Led and oversaw multiple digital transformation and IT projects, ensuring they were executed using the best-suited project management methodologies, timelines, and budgets
Apply best project management methodologies and practices ( e.g. Agile, Waterfall) that suit the project requirements and constraints to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects while adapting to the unique demands
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, stakeholders, and senior management to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Orchestrate all aspects of a project, from inception to completion within a defined timeline and budget, while maintaining effective communication, managing resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project outcomes
Establish and thoroughly document all aspects of each project and ensure deliverables are met while adhering to defined timelines and controls
Knowledge & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of proven experience driving a variety of technology-related projects, such as new implementations, enterprise system upgrades and integrations (i.e. SAP, Salesforce, Workday), cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades
Strong foundation in project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget and risk analysis and management, and resource allocation
Strong ability to lead by influencing, facilitating, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders spanning various business units and with potentially competing priorities
Proven success in working in dynamic but high-performing environments, while helping stakeholders and project members adopt and adhere to standard processes and best practices
