Job Description Summary
As Senior Video Editor you are responsible for creating engaging, on-brand video content, in collaboration with the STEMCELL video and Creative Services teams. You will shape raw footage into compelling brand stories and educational content for a variety of different audiences and platforms. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the collection and shooting of footage, including helping with lighting, audio, and filming. Duties and Responsibilities
Editing raw video footage and working with the Creative Services team to integrate b-roll, graphics, animations, 3-D models, and audio to create compelling content, including: product, promotional and how-to videos, brand stories, and interviews
Leading the editing component of campaigns and projects, end to end
Assisting with shooting, lighting, and audio for all video including studio and on-location shoots, as required
Effectively collaborating with stakeholders and Creative Services team members to produce audio and video content in stylistic adherence with the STEMCELL brand
Providing technical and artistic support to diverse corporate and scientific stakeholders in developing video content for global audiences
Knowledge and Qualifications
Post-secondary Certificate or Diploma in a related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve
Demonstrated proficiency in both shooting and editing, including experience with lighting, video and audio editing, camera operations, and cinematography
Experience with cinema cameras and/or experience filming scientific content is considered an asset
Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and project management skills
