Job Description Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for fulfilling STEMCELL’s reception services at an assigned office location(s). They are the first point of contact when visiting a STEMCELL location in-person. In addition, they provide logistical and administrative support to building services at each STEMCELL location.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and manage visitor/delivery logs.

  • Answering & transferring calls.

  • Providing & monitoring access badges.

  • Ordering & monitoring office supplies.

  • Managing parking passes.

  • Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.

  • New hire support (e.g. creation of name badges & nameplates, updates seating chart, etc.).

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree.

  • 0-3 years of experience in reception, administrative support and/or customer service.

  • Organised

  • Excellent customer service

  • Works well on own and as part of a team

  • Strong computer skills

  • Knowledge of Google Suites

  • Shows initiative

  • Adaptability

  • Problem solver, ability to think outside of the box
