Job Description Summary

STEMCELL Technologies is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and strategic leader to lead our Cleanrooms GMP Manufacturing team. Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing, GMP, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry with a strong background in GMP Regulations and/or Manufacturing, with a proven track record of developing teams.

As Director, you will influence and direct all aspects of our GMP Manufacturing team, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity through cross-collaboration to align with long term corporate visions. You will develop, support, and manage manufacturing strategy, capability, efficiency and effectiveness to drive STEMCELL’s financial, supply, quality, and regulatory goals. This will include strategic vision to ensure long-term operational excellence and readiness for projected growth. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of STEMCELL Technologies short-term and long-term goals.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure STEMCELL Manufacturing deliverables and standards are integrated into cGMP processes and provide expertise for continued cGMP Manufacturing processes

  • Support the Manufacturing and larger organizational teams in cGMP projects

  • Review key compliance documents to ensure Manufacturing strategy and capability are in compliance with needed regulations for current and future facilities

  • Align the Manufacturing team to support corporate objectives

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Previous track record of leading high performing teams with organizational scope

  • Over 10 years experience in the Life Sciences Manufacturing space (a combination of education and experience will be considered)

  • Extensive knowledge of the cGMP space from a Manufacturing and Regulatory standpoint

  • Experience interacting with FDA, Health Canada, EMA, and other global health authorities
