The successful Business Systems Analyst will maintain and expand the capabilities provided by our LIMS LabVantage system by delivering high-quality and creative solutions to satisfy STEMCELL’s business requirements and possible system defects.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide daily production support for our LIMS LabVantage, which includes maintaining security practices throughout STEMCELL’s LIMS landscape (LabVantage security) to safeguard the company, employees, and the system
Actively engage with all interested stakeholders and representative user groups to understand the business requirements fully
Design, configure, and customize functional solutions in conjunction with unit, integration, and regression testing
Create and maintain useful documentation, both for technical audiences and for business groups
Collaborate with other IS team members to improve our operations and support practices. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and champion the exploration of new methods and technologies
Knowledge and Qualifications
Degree or diploma in a technology-related discipline, or a mix of industry certifications & strong experience
5+ years of experience in LabVantage System configuration and functional integration
5+ years of experience working as a business systems analyst
Excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve root issues
Demonstrated work experience in a regulated industry like life sciences
