Job Description Summary
Are you a data management professional with experience in Data Architecture and Customer Data Management, looking to join the largest biotech company in Canada? If yes, then this is the role for you. STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a Data Management Architect to join our dynamic team. As the Data Management Architect, you will act as a liaison between business and IT, participating in discussions and helping to define data requirements (e.g. how the data is modeled, entered, and integrated; who has access to the data, and what its data quality requirements)In this role, you will work in collaboration with data stakeholders (data users, data custodians, data owners, business/system analysts, data engineers, data analysts, etc.) and contribute to decision making related to how the data is structured and managed.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Take ownership over the Customer data domain, including: review existing customer data management practice, identify pain points and improvement opportunities, and design the Customer Data Management Framework
Lead the customer data management continuous improvement process
Design and implement measures to improve customer data management practice
Contribute to software implementation projects as data management analyst
Design data management solutions (data model, data flow requirements, data entry process, third-party data sources if needed)
Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience as a data management architect responsible for system integration (not just as a data architect of data warehouse)
Customer Data Management experience (designing/implementing data pipelines to create Customer 360 is a nice to have)
Deep understanding of CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
Experience with Entity/Identity Resolution capabilities
Stakeholder management experience
