The Senior Program Manager, Educational Partnerships plays a crucial role in expanding STEMCELL's opportunities to learn and influence the growth of an overall healthier life sciences ecosystem in Canada.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and facilitate the evaluation of potential external educational partners in alignment with the 3 year learning roadmap and STEMCELL's long term strategic direction
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external educational partners, stakeholders, and key decision makers so that STEMCELL is consulted where applicable in all relevant external educational program development. Act as the primary point of contact and build trust through effective and timely communication and relationship management skills
Perform current state analysis of external educational partnerships and collaborate with internal business groups to identify, document and communicate external learning needs
Facilitate collaboration between internal teams/stakeholders and external partners ensuring STEMCELL’s learning needs are captured and addressed
Implement partnership programs, initiatives, and projects at STEMCELL in collaboration with external educational partners and internal stakeholders by way of managing expectations, facilitating meetings, and executing smooth project management
In partnership with internal stakeholders, develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the ROI of external programs, initiatives & projects brought in-house. Prepare presentations to communicate partnership outcomes and achievements
Knowledge and Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. or master's with 8+ years experience, or PHD with 5+ years of experience in a life sciences discipline
Demonstrated commitment and passion for continuous lifelong learning
Experience communicating and influencing within a complex interdisciplinary environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience in monitoring and evaluating partnership programs
Knowledge of industry trends and STEMCELL's strategic direction
