What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Marketing and Communications
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Internship Duration: 12 months starting October 2023

The Communications and Marketing Intern will play a vital role in supporting the communications and marketing activities of the Customer Evolution organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in the fields of communications, marketing, and public relations.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media platforms, website, blog, newsletters, and press releases. This may involve conducting research, writing, proofreading, and editing content.
- Social Media Management: Help manage and grow the organization's social media presence by planning and executing social media campaigns, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing social media metrics.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, target audience preferences, and competitor activities. Compile and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for improving marketing strategies.
- Public Relations: Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Support the coordination of media outreach efforts, including drafting press releases, media pitches, and organizing media events.
- Branding and Design: Collaborate with the Communication Swarm team to develop and maintain consistent branding across various platforms. Assist in designing marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital assets.
- Event Support: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and webinars. This may involve logistical coordination, creating promotional materials, and post-event analysis.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Provide recommendations based on data insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication across all channels.
What you bring

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in communications, Markteting, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Proficient in using social media platforms and tools for marketing purposes.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies is considered a plus
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, and design tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
