PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES
The SAP Global License Audit and Compliance (GLAC) organization is responsible for protecting SAP’s intellectual property, while putting the customer experience first and foremost. We provide license audit and compliance tools and services, to our customers, that are reliable, predictable, transparent, and globally consistent.
Within the GLAC organization, the Premium License Utilization Services (PLUS) function is a Centre of Excellence Premium Utilization Services as Enhanced Audits, Customer Measurement Services as well es enablement to customers and internal colleagues and stakeholders, to ensure customers are appropriately licensed, and to enable professional license management.
Transforming towards cloud means for our customers also a move into a new license world without the classic Named User License model. With our newly established SAP Trusted Authorization Review (STAR), we provide customers with tooling and a concierge service to simulate and optimize the requirements.
The service will be adapted to the unique starting point of the customer and brings together what our customers need to understand and transform their license utilization in the way that works best for them. With the authorization object analyzer and the utilization concierge service we can minimize uncertainty, build a trustful baseline and accelerated sales cycle.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES & TASKS
- The License Utilization Manager leads complex Premium License Utilization Services (PLUS) e.g. SAP Trusted Authorization Review (STAR), Customer Measurement Services, remote and onsite audits, as well as other customer service engagements (Digital Access Evaluation Services, Supplementary Audit Services).
- Supports other colleagues in delivery of PLUS Services (including global engagements where applicable)
- Communicate effectively with customers and multiple SAP colleagues (other GLAC Colleagues, Sales, Shared Service Contacts, Local Contacts) to deliver high quality service and support and take the lead on PLUS engagements
- Conduct license audits & customer measurement or enablement services, support customers and sales with related licensing or measurement queries and challenges
- Plan, coordinate and execute projects involving multiple stakeholders for an effective outcome while keeping customer experience top of mind (internal and external)
- Adopt latest measurement trends and combine the knowledge with historical experience to support and develop new methods; stay aware of and participate in building GLAC’s practices and knowledge base of relevant licensing and measurement topics
- Proactively identify issues with PLUS tools or processes and propose solutions
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum of Bachelor´s degree in Economics or IT related discipline
- Excellent analytical skills and effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong communicator who likes to work in a multinational team environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills is a must, additional language is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong customer focus and commitment to excellent customer service
- Strong technical skills within SAP Classic and/or other products are a plus
- Knowledge of SAP’s Licensing and pricing an asset
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5+ years of technical work experience in licensing and pricing
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Expert
- Strong IT/Development related experience and/or compliance related experiences
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading a team
- Strong network within different SAP organizations an asset
- International experience working with a global company, an asset
