Senior Manager, Information Technology (IT)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Information Technology to join our rapidly growing organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in implementing and / or upgrading our IT systems to support the company's strategic goals over the next five years. As the Manager of IT, you will play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization, ensuring that our IT infrastructure is robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record of successfully introducing and managing IT systems in a growth-stage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic IT Planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's growth objectives.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support business expansion.

  • System Implementation and Upgrades
    • Oversee the introduction and upgrade of various IT systems, including but not limited to ERP, PLM, CRM, QMS, MES, LMS, CMMS, Data Warehouse and additional IT/communication platforms.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in project planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews.

  • Infrastructure Management
    • Manage and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business value.

  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Foster the ongoing development of Redlen's IT department including being responsible for the setting strategic goals, coaching team members to deliver on goals, inter-company communication and removing barriers to success.
    • Effectively manage the resources, time, and priorities of the IT department.
    • Implement talent development initiatives to ensure the continuous growth and skill enhancement of the IT department.
    • Continuously implement initiatives that aim to improve processes, systems and culture across the department and wider company.
    • Maintain and model a positive and professional attitude, that cultivates healthy working relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Vendor Management
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and leverage vendor partnerships to enhance the organization's technological capabilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role overseeing IT functions, preferably in a growth-stage manufacturing organization.
  • Experience with managing change in several Enterprise System applications
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver IT projects on time and within budget. PMP certification, considered an asset for this role.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems integration, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
