about this team
We are a group of passionate individuals delivering lululemon’s Finance Systems roadmap globally. The team acts as system liaison between Technology and Finance to support new initiatives and maintain ERP Financial Systems such as Oracle EBS R12.2.10 Financials on OCI, EPBCS (Hyperion Planning), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Coupa, ReadSoft Online, Lucernex, Vertex O Series, Spreadsheet Server (Insight Software) Reporting, Helios, Oracle Accelerator.
a day in the life
The Senior Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create both business, functional and technical requirements for features and functionality to support our internal business needs and guest experiences.
  • Business and functional requirements gathering & document technical requirements
  • Performs troubleshooting and investigates root cause of production issues
  • Translating business strategy into roadmaps for consumption by teams
  • Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs
  • Assess configuration options to meet requirements and specifications
  • Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders
  • Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements
  • Utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirements alignment sessions
  • Documents technical solutions to identified problems
  • Provide guidance and support to test strategy, plan and execution
  • Engages with engineers to design/configure solutions
  • Strong skills in cross-functional partnership and gaining alignment within constraints of the project or work
qualifications
  • Post secondary degree in Accounting, Information Systems. Accounting designation preferred.
  • 7+ years hands on global experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 Financials ERP systems
  • Experience providing requirements for medium to large initiatives
  • Act as functional lead on 2+ full life cycle financial project implementation and post go live support
  • Strong QA experience is an asset
  • Experience with all aspects of project management, development & change management cycle
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints while keep the end user needs at top of mind
