About this team
Reporting to the manager of Product Analytics and Reporting, this position is an analytical swiss army knife. You will interface both with business stakeholders of the product org to understand complex questions, and go to the data to answer them. You will also interface with technical teams to assist and advise on design and implementations informed by the data. Outputs will include Power BI reports, written analysis, presentations to stakeholders, and other data products for consumption by both technical and non-technical people.
You’re a dreamer, a lateral thinker, and intensely curious. You’re able to see the finer details within their context of the bigger picture. People naturally come to you to solve problems, and you’re good at it.
Teamwork and clear communication are key. You are an essential part of a cross functional team supporting the entire product organization.
A day in the life:
Liase with business stakeholders with complext questions that our data can answer
Liase with technical stakeholders that warehouse the data you need
Liase with product management to understand pain points that require further investigation
Dig into existing data to inform the design and implementation of product systems and services
Write code…. Develop end-to-end full stack analysis in SQL, Power BI, python, and Excel
Scribbling! Have a blast thinking about complex business problems, playing with and devising how you can tease insights out of data
Colaborate with other analysts
Assist with creating and delivering training on data products and analytical concepts
Qualifications:

A demonstrated ability to perform analysis and and communicate results. That can look like a:
Degree in Data, Math, or other science discipline
Colege certificates in Data related field
Experience in data analytics ideally in a fashion retail environment
Expert knowledge of SQL and Excel is required.
Experience with Python/R/Power BI are an asset
Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
Exemplary communication skills (written & verbal)
Extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize
Self directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful
