We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
\nWe are looking for a security verification engineer to support the development and release of cybersecurity product features. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the development and commercialization of complex and leading-edge medical devices.

What you’ll be doing
\nYou will engage in activities such as:
\n- \n
- Development of product security design validation and verification methodologies. \n
- Develop and execute product security test strategies and test plans. \n
- Provide guidance to the software development and requirement teams to ensure that design specifications and requirements are adequately written to support verification activities. \n
- Become familiar with and stay current on relevant medical device software standards and regulations. \n

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering or computer science \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on conducting security testing and verification. \n
- Experience with software or electrical systems design and/or testing \n
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages \n
- Experience writing specifications, test protocols, and test reports. \n
- Experience on security testing, validation and verification practices, and techniques such as pen testing, and digital forensics. \n
- Keen interest in software test automation. \n
- Practical knowledge and application of medical device regulatory requirements and standards such as IEC 81001. NIST SP 800-53, and FDA Guidance for Cybersecurity in Medical Devices is preferred. \n
- Enthusiastically seeks innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges and displays flexibility and adaptability to take on additional responsibilities as needed. \n

Compensation
\nKardium has listed the total cash compensation range that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more experience than listed above, the pay range will be higher.
