\nKardium has a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market: The Globe® Pulsed Field System. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
\nKardium has a unique opportunity for an experienced Team Lead – Equipment Maintenance. As a member of the Manufacturing team, this Team Lead will be responsible for managing the maintenance and calibration manufacturing equipment used in the production of the Globe Catheter.
\nPlease note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
\nWhat you’ll be doing
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Monitoring production line up time and actioning resourcing to address issues quickly \n
- Planning and scheduling maintenance activities \n
- Managing service agreements \n
- Review and support maintenance tickets \n
- Lead and mentor maintenance team \n
- Spare parts management, updating tickets/ERP to ensure spare parts are suitably checked in/out and restocked \n
- Management of inventory levels for spare parts \n
- Purchasing of equipment items \n
- Manage production tool inventory (non-equipment) \n
- Management of clinical support field kits and other similar items \n
- Coordination of calibrations \n

\nYou are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:

- Technical diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience \n
- Minimum 5 years experience in equipment maintenance or servicing, with prior leadership experience \n
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment such as ISO13485 or AS9100 strongly preferred \n
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness \n
- Superior team building and interpersonal skills \n
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment is desirable \n
- Experience writing technical procedures and reports \n
- Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills \n
- Effective written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills \n
- Flexible and able to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate \n
