Kardium has a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market: The Globe® Pulsed Field System. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

\n

We have an exciting new opportunity as a Team Lead – Operations & Facilities. The Team Lead will be responsible for managing the Operations Facilities team and ensuring the successful launch of commercial production. In this role, you will support the implementation of manufacturing capability, capacity, and throughput expansion.

\n

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

\n

What you’ll be doing

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n
    \n
  • Lead long-term infrastructure planning and drive consensus across various cross-functional teams.
  • \n
  • Plan, manage, and execute any major infrastructure projects tied to operations. 
  • \n
  • Implement preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, and regularly review programs for improvement.
  • \n
  • Manage the Facilities team.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain operations facility emergency response plans and procedures.
  • \n
  • Manage facilities related documentation which may include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, Work Instructions, Qualification reports etc.

  • Bachelor's degree engineering/facility management or a combination of related education and experience
  • \n
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with prior leadership experience – preferably in an ISO-certified environment
  • \n
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems, facility maintenance (HVAC, Generators, Chillers, Compressors, etc) and cleanroom construction and qualifications
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of facility management best practices and industry standards
  • \n
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • \n
  • Superior team building and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • Highly effective written & verbal communication and technical documentation skills
  • \n
  • Able to operate independently with minimal direction
  • \n
  • Flexible and adaptable to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate
