Kardium is developing a groundbreaking medical device for the minimally-invasive diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that can cause strokes, heart failure, and other heart-related complications.
\nKardium has a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market: The Globe® Pulsed Field System. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
\nIn this role, you will join Kardium as a Clinical Education Manager working with a multidisciplinary team to develop and support a training program for the Globe PF System. This will include training internal Clinical Support staff, as well as supporting training of Physicians and Nurses using the product in clinical procedures.
\nWhat you’ll be doing
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Oversee and develop the training programs required for a successful commercial launch, including training of Physicians, Hospital Staff, and our Sales & Clinical Support teams \n
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain training materials \n
- Follow an instructional design process to develop and maintain a learner-centric training program \n
- Develop, maintain, and manage delivery of “train the trainer” programs trainers of Field Clinical Specialists, Physicians, and Clinical Site staff \n
- Work with the Regulatory Affairs and Technical Publications teams to ensure training materials are compliant with applicable regulations \n
- Up to 25% travel to customer sites – North America and Europe \n
- If remote – regular travel to Vancouver, BC (every 1-3 months) \n

\nYou are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Nursing, Medical Technology, or equivalent \n
- Electrophysiology experience is highly desirable \n
- 5+ years in a role involving instructional design, curriculum development and project management \n
- Adult learning, including needs assessment and knowledge transfer \n
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking \n
- Effective written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills \n
- Able to operate independently with minimal direction \n
- Flexible and adaptable to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate \n
