We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, we are looking for a dynamic UI Developer. As a part of highly collaborative and technical team, you will develop innovative, user-friendly software features for our revolutionary Globe® Mapping and Ablation System.

What you’ll be doing 

\n

You will help implement new user-facing features and improve usability and performance of existing functionality. In partnership with your team, you will focus on developing highly usable and responsive user interfaces. In addition, you may participate in:

  • \nRequirements and design specification \n
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • \nInvestigations of reported anomalies \n
  • \n
  • \nCode inspections \n
  • \n
  • \nDesign, specification, and risk reviews \n
  • \n
  • \nTDD/unit testing \n
  • \n
  • \nTest platform and integration test development \n
  • \n

    \n
  • \nProfessional skills development, site visits, and/or usability testing \n
  • \n

  • \nA significant part of your coding experience is in a team environment utilizing a version control system and an issue tracking system \n

  • \nA focus on UI development, with existing or developing expertise in UI frameworks ready to be leveraged to solve technical challenges and make the UI come to life \n

  • \nA bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering \n
  • \n
  • \nProven ability to be a valued contributor in a disciplined, software development process \n
  • \n
  • \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \n
  • \n
  • \nWell-developed written and verbal technical communication skills \n

  • \nThe willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate \n

Any experience with one or more of the following would also be helpful:

  • \nBasic engineering such as electronics, signal processing, thermodynamics, control theory, and/or UI/UX design \n

  • \nSoftware development in the medical device or other regulated industry \n

  • \n3D graphics applications using OGL \n
  • \n
  • \nAlgorithmic and system optimization to drive ever better responsiveness for our computationally intensive 3D visualizations \n
