Job Overview
INETCO is looking for a C++ Developer, with real-time systems experience to help develop our INETCO Insight. We are looking for a person with systems engineering and strong C++ programming skills to work as part of the INETCO R&D team to design, develop, integrate, document, and test new product enhancements and features. If you love building high performance server applications and cross-platform programming this is a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and document product features.
• Where possible, maximize the usage of test automation test tools to ensure efficient and repeatable test coverage.
• Provide input to improvements in the INETCO Development process retrospectives, collaborate with other developers as needed during sprints to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Participate in the daily Scrum meetings to report progress on allocated work including issues that threaten the quality or timeliness of the work.
• Continually improve knowledge of the programming and communications domains by reading books, attending seminars/courses and subsequently disseminating the knowledge amongst the R&D team.
• Participate in the review of peers' work.
• Be the primary technical lead for customer projects in the Middle East and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent technical certification.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Minimum of 5 years professional development experience in C++ applications.
• Minimum of 3 years professional development experience involving network communications protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/REST/SOAP).
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers.
• Good Communications skills (verbal and written).
• Good planning and organizational abilities.
• Works well in pressure situations.
• Strong skills in build automation and testing.
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
