The Role
The UI/UX Designer will define and implement effective solutions for the product direction, visual design, and user experience. The ideal candidate will be inventive and resourceful at problem-solving while communicating clearly and effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders and executive-level leadership. iComply is seeking an individual who can effectively and efficiently translate user research into sitemaps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with consideration of user/system interaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct requirement gather sessions with stakeholders and evaluate user feedback
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts and user interactions
- Deliver mock-ups for all stages of a design process (modern web applications)
- Develop assets using such tools as Figma, InVision, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and XD
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Develop visual design elements such as icons, typography, and color schemes to enhance user experience and brand identity
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design
- Establish internal design guidelines, best practices, and standards
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related digital design field
- 4+ years of experience in modern web standards for design and development
- Bonus: experience "re-skinning" already-built web applications
- Proficient in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and Git
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision, Principle, or Framer
- Demonstrate understanding in and experience with LESS/SASS and Source Control (GIT, SVN, etc.)
- Previous experience in eCommerce with payment gateways
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills
- A portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI design work
- Fast learner, with strong core values of integrity and trustworthiness
- Exceptional time management skills
