Your Role and Responsibilities
Key point of contact and champion for aligned partners; cultivates deep trusted relationships and orchestrates partner planning, strategy, and management. Owns and manages the relationship with partners; assigned to specific partner or group of partners. Responsible for achieving partner revenue target. Manages pipeline development and progression of deals for aligned partners. Coordinates ecosystem team across technical, sales, partner growth, etc., to deliver superior value and services to partners. Voices/advocates for partners within IBM (Connects partner to key resources across IBM, BUs, and sellers).

Business unit, country, or international professional mastery related to operations, strategies, and objectives in leading edge or critical situations.

Teamwork at highest levels. Plan and conduct complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments.

Problem Solving:
Anticipate, create and define innovative and visionary concepts in strategic environment.

Develops and implements product, market, business, or technology strategies with executive review. Has vision of overall strategies. Contributes to policy making. Recognized as an expert and leader by members of a field, related functions, and multi -country organizations. Leads business unit, country, or international teams, conducts special projects, or manages functions or strategic departments.

Impact on Business/Scope:
Accountable for business unit, major country, or international projects or programs. Responsible for committing multiple resources and achieving customer satisfaction, cost, expense, revenue and other business measurements of critical importance. Responsible for quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future business development.

* Position requires 50% to 75% travel

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Business unit, country, or international professional mastery related to operations, strategies, and objectives in leading edge or critical situations
  • 5 years sales experience
  • 5 years client and partner experience
  • Leadership in Complex Technology Sales: Demonstrated track record of managing and influencing both internal and external technology sales teams to consistently achieve sales quotas in complex technology sales and account relationship/development environments.

  • Interpersonal and Collaborative Excellence: Proven proficiency in people skills, communication, and collaboration, with a documented history of networking at executive levels and influencing stakeholders throughout the successful closure of complex technology sales cycles, involving deals ranging from $250k to multi-million dollars.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strategic Relationship Leadership: Prior involvement as a strategic relationship leader or consultant within a highly intricate technical sales environment.

  • Comprehensive Familiarity with IBM’s Offerings: Hands-on experience with any of IBM’s products and services (training across IBM’s product suite will be provided).
