Your Role and Responsibilities
This position includes an introduction to customer support for the z/OS operating system in addition to a software development project.
Job responsibilities involve working within a team of other summer interns on a support tooling project while gaining real customer support experience through assisting in the analysis and resolution of customer-reported problems. Team members will also gain experience in managing customer situations and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Good written and verbal communication skills and a strong programming or engineering background
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Any z/OS and Mainframe experience is a big plus
- Pursuing a STEM or Information Technology related bachelor’s degree
