Manager/Director of Technology

HTuO Biosciences is looking for a Manager or Director of Technology to coordinate development between R&D and Application teams, and to build and manage a team spanning Software development, DevOps and IT. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and will work directly with the heads of other departments to help plan the future direction of the company.

Who We Are

HTuO Biosciences is a Canadian biotech company working at the interface of chemistry, physics and computer programming to accelerate drug discovery. If you are passionate about technology, drug discovery and entrepreneurship, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

When you join us, you’ll take ownership of building product roadmap, defining requirements (working in conjunction with R&D and Computational Chemistry teams) as we move into commercialization of our platform. This will include managing system architecture documents, and creating test validation plans. You’ll begin in a hands-on role, helping our R&D team grow our cloud presence and oversee the growth of software development, DevOps and IT teams to support the company as it matures.

You’ll also take an active part in representing the company on technical matters, working closely with our R&D and computational chemistry leads. You will assist by leading our scrum meetings, tracking and reporting on development processes and helping us elevate our agile development practices. You’ll also draw on your experience to mentor members of our R&D team on software development.
