Foragers School of Nature is a child, youth and family based organization founded in Squamish, BC. We aim to offer programming that values Earth Stewardship, Self Awareness and Development while building community based in these values. All programs explore and celebrate nature culture through games and story sharing, hands on experiences, place-based learning and community enrichment. Programs are geared towards students' ability and nurtured from there. The range of learning starts small with nature culture building through sensory awareness games and story sharing and grows towards skills in; carving, animal tracking, shelter building, peace keeping, plant ID, tree ID, navigation, wild food foraging and more. The deepest skill that is learned is the connection one makes with themselves and their natural world; this is very personal, transformative and life long.
