We're hiring a Website Designer + Customer Success Specialist to join our growing Focal team. Together, we'll develop Focal's reputation as a leading choice for customers to hire a photographer and a strong champion of artists and creatives looking to grow their photography business.

Eligibility:

• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Currently Enrolled Post Secondary Student

The rundown:

This is a full-time, contract position (35-40 hours/week). Co-op students are welcome. The role starts immediately and continues until April 31st, 2021 with a possibility of extension thereafter.

The goal and responsibility of the Website Designer + Customer Success Specialist is to build Focal photographer's websites and help get them set up on Focal's booking system.

What you'll do:

Website Design: You'll design and build websites for photographers based on their feedback. You'll take the time to understand each client and help execute their vision for their website.
Customer Success: You'll help photographers get set up on their new websites and using Focal's booking system.

What you're good at:

Web Design & Aesthetics: Web design experience is an asset but not needed. You have an eye for aesthetics and design.
Writing: You’re an excellent writer. You know the difference between a run-on sentence and a sentence fragment. You know how to distill a story and make it clear, concise, and engaging.
Initiative: You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.‍
