Reporting to the reporting to Regional Sales Manager Mining, the Mining Product Support Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for the growth in the aftermarket products and services sold by Finning. Using a consultative selling approach, build profitable long-term customer relationships by selling products and services to support management of the customer's fleet to maximize productivity and reduce down time and cost per hour.If you have experience in developing long term strategic customer relationships by your solid business acumen in conjunction with solid mechanical knowledge of equipment systems, then please apply for the fantastic opportunity.
Job Description:
- Aftermarket sales through solution based selling is the primary function
- Collaboration and coordination within Finning and Caterpillar's support teams
- Opportunity qualification in pursuit of an exceptional customer experience
- Trend monitoring, analysis, quality reporting, troubleshooting, resolution of equipment and related products issues with Finning’s supplier partners
- Leading aftermarket new product introduction initiatives
- Responsible for SWIP approvals and first level problem resolution
- Prepare accurate and timely equipment and service forecasts, including component forecasting, pricing, estimates and intelligence, call reports, and customer information
- Opportunity development through the use of customer resource management tools
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with the major customer accounts
- Achieve targets for sales, profitability, growth, market share and quotas
- Mentor and lead Product Supports Sales Representatives and Wear Product Specialists
- Represent the Company in a professional and ethical manner
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years sales experience managing whole accounts
- Automotive or heavy equipment experience or proven sound mechanical knowledge
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Strong parts and service background
- Business acumen and understanding of support systems, credit and financing
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment systems
- Understanding Finning Systems: CTS, PTOS, DBS, Costwatcher, Warranty, SIS preferred
- Understands and adheres to safety procedures
- Proficient in MS office package
