Position Overview:

As Transport and Logistics Controller, you will control, manage and continuously improve the Parts Supply Chain logistics and transport through 3PL contracts and preferred suppliers to meet the supply chain delivery promise, service excellence targets and e-commerce supply chain strategy.

Job Description:

Transport and Logistics Controller

• Develop and Manage delivery schedules for all divisions to ensure an efficient and cost-effective process that is aligned with our transport and storage strategy.
• Work closely with 3PL, transport / Logistics suppliers, and purchasing to ensure the highest level of service is achieved at the lowest cost.
• Co-ordinate all non-conformance issues with transport suppliers taking actions and resolving issues.
• Manage all preferred transport providers that are on the preferred supplier list, ensuring they meet their contractual performance and budget costs.
• Manage the transport and handling costs within budgets, ensuring all branches and operations follow the correct processes. Manage transport suppliers through regular supplier reviews and measurements.
• Provide analysis on delivery showing potential improvements on recovery, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements

• IOSH qualification Advantageous
• CPC qualification (Transport Management) Advantageous
• Supply Chain end-to-end process knowledge and experience
• Operations Management in Service and/or Logistics.
