These positions are located at the Victoria Gold Mine Site, a remote mine site located in the Yukon Territory. If successful you'll be responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining of a variety of Caterpillar Mining equipment, in a customer shop and in the field.Industry leading potential compensation plan: $180000 - $190000 / year

Job Description:
- Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar Mining equipment
- Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
- Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
- Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team
Qualifications:
- Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
- Previous Caterpillar and general line equipment repair experience
- CAT/Bucyrus Hydraulic shovel experience would be an asset
- CAT/Bucryrus Surface Drill experience would be an asset
- Completion, or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses
- Self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision and contribute positively to safe work environment
- Team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Computer literacy along with an understanding of software programs would be considered assets
Note:
- This position is based out of Whitehorse on a 14x14 continuous shift
- The ability to travel to the Yukon will be required
- A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
- Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
