Position Overview:

Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently seeking Material Supply Assistant/Warehouse Person for our busy location in Grande Prairie. The Material Supply Assistant/Warehouse Person is responsible for general warehouse duties including picking and packing orders, loading of parts trucks, verifying bill of landings, shipping orders to meet strict deadlines and warehouse racking dismantling and reassembling. Job Description:

• Picking customer and branch parts orders

• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment

• Shipping and Receiving

• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks

• Other general warehouse duties as required

**Shift Work may be required in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**

Qualifications:

• Self motivated, able to work under minimal supervision

• Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset

• Capable of providing general guidance and leadership daily to the team

• Computer literacy, TDG/WHIMIS certification, forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets

• Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG

• A strong commitment to safety is imperative
