Responsibilities

Hire, coach, and performance manage a global team of Experience Designers, and find ways to develop the team's skill, health and proficiency.

Establish clear goals for the Experience Design (XD) team, and track and communicate progress against committed deliverables and meaningful performance metrics.

Work with product partners to assess in-coming work requests, gaining enough clarity to translate expectations into applicable tasks and attainable goals.

Align the teams' work to product priorities, and plan XD efforts for upcoming Frostbite releases.

Create XD roadmaps by balancing asks with team capacity, and providing visibility and insights for the design team and partners.

Improve the quality of collaboration between the design, product and development teams by defining operational best practices and recommending process improvements.

Ensure that the team produces high-quality designs based on existing design principles, patterns and systems.
Qualifications
-
You will have 5+ years of experience in the design industry.

You will have 2+ years of experience managing the creation, development and performance of teams.

You will have experience managing concurrent design projects with diverse teams, situated across multiple locations.

You will have experience establishing and improving UX processes and ways of working with cross-discipline teams.

You will be comfortable working in complex organizations and have experience educating and promoting UX principles and best practices to partners and colleagues.
