Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Requisition Number:181751
Can this position be remote?: No

We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination.

We are Quality, Verification & Standards (QVS).

Our mission is to empower game teams to create high-quality experiences for all players.

We are guided by our vision to build games in a better way. Our strategy starts with driving quality upstream, guiding game teams to shape the games we create. This approach unlocks our ability to focus on experiential quality through stable software. Expanding the power of play, we also help game teams talk to players earlier to improve on quality.

Our team, QVS Tech, builds tools that are used across QVS and the game development teams. We are looking for a Development Director to manage these projects, interface with our partners to keep them informed of our progress, and lead our team's Agile processes. You will report to the team's Senior Engineering Manager.

QVS Tech is largely a remote team with members throughout North America and Europe.

    • Experience running Agile processes in a team using Agile, Kanban, Lean, or another similar methodology.
    • Experience managing partner expectations around delivery, scope, and timelines. Comfortable working directly with partners to plan project deliveries.
    • Experience using Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Soft skills
    • Work directly with partners in planning, evaluating risks, and working collaboratively on delivery outcomes.
    • Contribute to our team's inclusive and psychologically safe culture.
