  • You will collaborate with Software Engineers across EA to understand how to improve Frostbite game creation, including performance & memory tracking, test automation workflows, or code quality.

  • You will design the required features and systems, estimate effort, identify development risks, and provide solutions.

  • You will deploy tests in our CI and services in our infrastructure, ensuring they are stable, scalable and debuggable.

  • You will work with Frostbite domain experts to expand your engine knowledge, and will promote our team's tools and workflows to the wider community.

  • You will attend team meetings, share information, and improve documentation.

  • You will contribute to the team culture of learning, collaboration and engineering sustainability, including best development practices and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related academic programme, or equivalent training and professional experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in C#, and optionally in C++ or Python.

  • Experience with object-oriented design patterns, and practices like unit testing.

  • Experience with CI tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), build systems or version control systems (Git, Perforce).

  • Debugging skills (with Visual Studio) — you enjoy finding the root-cause of issues.

Bonus if you have...

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience with test automation technologies.

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization, databases (SQL/NoSQL) or security.

  • Experience in game or game engine development (Unreal, Unity or Frostbite).
